A Human Rhythms program can be tailored to suit your time allocations. Standard timing for the Teambuilder is 30-45 minutes and the Team Challenge is 90-120 minutes. Importantly, we will build our program to suit you.
[back to questions]
The Team Challenge is a program that happens after the Team Builder. How does this work?
After the Teambuilder program (where everyone plays together as one team) we break the group into smaller teams. Each team is challenged to create their own rhythm and play this rhythm back to the broader group. Once all rhythms are played we will pull all rhythms together into one team rhythm - perfect teamwork in around 2 hours.

Can a Human Rhythms program be tailored to suit my specific objectives?
Absolutely! Our team programs deliver perfect metaphors for high performance teamwork in business. We can tailor each program to reinforce your objectives, giving your many examples to refer to. These experiences can relate to conference objectives, company values, team requirements and many more.

Can a Human Rhythms session be tailored to suit a certain budget?
Yes. We will provide an indicative estimate based on the early information you provide. We realise that budget is an important “box to tick” and we will work with you to deliver a program to meet you budget or deliver you the return on investment you need.

How should the room be set up for the greatest impact?
The ideal set-up for our programs is U-Shape or full circle. If this can’t be accommodated then theatre style will work well. Ideally, there should not be tables, unless the event is a dinner, for which we have a dedicated program format.
[back to questions]
When is the best time to run a Human Rhythms program in my conference?
The simple answer is anytime. Our programs are a great opening ceremony, an energetic post lunch wake-up, a memorable closing ceremony or an exciting workshop opportunity. We will discuss set-up and pack-out requirements for each.

If the team have done drumming before, what are the benefits of doing it again?
The first session that your team experiences will demonstrate quite clearly what is required for great teamwork. As with all learning, if this is not refreshed the learning can be lost. Subsequent sessions will enhance relationships of the team members. This, in turn, will improve the musical outcomes leading to greater learning. Each time they play, the program is different and still a great team experience.

When I receive your Plan, what are the next steps?
This plan is designed to give you an insight to our approach to an event such as yours, including indicative pricing. We will contact you 3-4 days after you receive this plan to see if you have any questions or need more information. If you agree in principal then we can then fine-tune the program to your specific objectives. Once agreement is reached to our involvement with your team / event, we will send you a deposit invoice (25% of the total amount) and a confirmation agreement. At this point we will layout a plan leading up to the program date.
[back to questions]
Do you really facilitate most programs without speaking?
That’s correct. Removing the voice allows people to focus on non-verbal guidance, their team members and their own participation. Our facilitators are experienced team trainers and can run a “conversation” with your group about team learning and other behavioural observations at the end of the program. We tend to ask the questions and let your group provide the answers - a very powerful learning moment.
